Reimagining The Next World Order: What's Worth to Keep, What Should be Changed, and Why?

The post-World War II liberal world order is at an inflection point. A transition might be underway, but its eventual shape remains uncertain. The symptoms: the credibility of multilateral institutions is increasingly challenged; the relative decline of United States has created a vacuum in global leadership; and China’s rise brings a mix of opportunities but also, for some countries, a sense of insecurity. At the same time, the rise of middle powers and evolving regionalism across the globe is also shaping global dynamics.

Growing demands for UN reform, especially from the Global South, shows that current system no longer works. New coalitions, shifting alignments, and the prospective expansion of groupings like BRICS and the G20 are also contributing to the global shift.

As we anticipate the next world order, questions arise: What is worth keeping, what should be changed, and why? What do we need from the next world order? What is the place of the West, China, the Global South, and Middle Power in the next world order?
